Based on the current situation of interpretation teaching in colleges and universities, this paper discusses the teaching implications of the interpretation demands of Beijing 2022 Olympics Winter Games. Taking into account the curriculum arrangement, teaching methods and teaching contents, we discover some problems in interpretation teaching, such as inadequate class hours, insufficient interpretation training, and lack of Chinese cultural input. University volunteers are important for international sports events interpretation. In order to train better university talents to serve international sports events, this paper puts forward such solutions as starting interpretation courses at an early stage, simulating interpretation sites, offering onsite interpretation training, and strengthening interdisciplinary teaching, increasing vocabulary with Chinese characteristics, so as to provide new methods for interpretation teaching.
