Abstract:Many great works of the Australian writer Tim Winton depict the elements of natural forces. He integrates the natural elements of earth, water, fire and air into the narrative space of the literary text as the activity space of the subjects from mountains to rivers, from wheat fields to beaches, from the sun, moon and stars to candlelight homes, thus building a poetic natural space where the material and imagination coexist and where the natural elements link the subjects with the objects, emphasizing unity between the elemental essence and essence of life, and revealing Winton’s humanistic concern for the poetic dwelling of human beings.
