Abstract:The course of Comprehensive Experiment of Robot Engineering is a multi-discipline comprehensive practical course. In the actual teaching process, the traditional teaching mode is still used, i.e. the teacher first introduces the experimental principles and procedures and then guides students to complete the experimental project. Such a teaching-learning style limits the students’ autonomy in learning and innovative thinking in class. Therefore, this paper introduces Seminar into the experimental classroom, and explores the effect of this teaching mode in practice. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages, suggestions are put forth for the existing problems. The teaching practice showed that Seminar could improve the students’ devotion to the experiment and invoke their innovative and critical thinking. Besides, the teacher’s teaching techniques are also improved. It is believed that Seminar can apply to other courses.
