Strengthening “four history” education to teenagers is an important way to help them with a history learning ecosystem, correct historical consciousness, and ability to distinguish history. The red culture is a valuable material heritage and spiritual wealth accumulated in the process of revolution, construction and reform led by CPC, and its unique value meets the needs of “four history” education to youth. Therefore, telling red stories, inheriting red genes, extending red context and gaining red force from red culture are conducive to teenagers’ better learning of “four history”. In order to play the full role of red culture in “four history” education to teenagers, we should strengthen the significance of red education in Ideological and Political classes, carrying forward the red inheritance value of social practice, improving the red appeal of the red education base, and exploring the new mode of red education in network media.
