Abstract:Sudden public crisis events in the era of mobile Internet will not only threaten the interests and safety of the public, but also easily spread panic and chaotic emotions in the online world, triggering an online “information crisis”. And the crisis information in networks will in turn guide and mobilize the public’s psychology and behavior, thus the co-evolution of mutual influence and interaction between actual crisis events and network crisis information. This article reveals the “new features” and “new trends” presented by crisis events and network information in the era of mobile Internet, discusses the control of the co-examination process of crisis events and network information from the event source and the information source in order to improve the effect of early-warning with less control and cost and to reduce the destructive power of crisis events.
