Based on the Web of Science data source, this study analyzes the relevant research in the field of machine translation and post-editing during 2011-2020, expounds the research focus and future trends, and summarizes the research focus of foreign scholars, including comparison between post-editing and from-scratch translation, advantages and disadvantages of static post-editing and interactive post-editing, effort prediction, and post-editing standards and guidelines. And it is inferred that future study will explore in greater depth the aspects of neural machine translation post-editing, literary content of post-editing, and competences of post-editors. This study provides new perspectives and methods for domestic research.
