Bronze ware is a symbol of Chinese civilization, and its standardized translation plays an important role in promoting China’s opening up with a good international image and spreading Chinese culture. However, there are some problematic translations of bronze ware names, such as different translations for the same bronze name, distorted information, confusing structure in translation, lack of culture connotation, and so on. From the perspective of terminology, this paper puts forward that the translation of bronze ware names should be standardized and follow the four principles of name unity, concept accuracy, appropriate expression and culture prominence in order to tell good cultural relics stories, spread fine traditional Chinese culture and enhance Chinese cultural confidence.
