With the advancement of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, it is urgent to develop an educational plan that integrates the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the teaching of traditional national sports games. After literature review, logical analysis, and expert interviews on the concept and phenomena of traditional ethnic sports, the author finds out the practical difficulties in integrating the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the teaching of traditional ethnic sports, including an imbalance between sports competition and culture, a lack of systematic organization of traditional national sports events, an emphasis on educational applications of traditional national sports rather than development, insufficient innovation and difficulties in the inheritance of traditional sports events. Then, appropriate strategies are proposed: seeking the value position of ethnic traditional sports within the world’s diverse sports culture, strengthening case studies on traditional ethnic sports games, establishing the concept of educating students through traditional ethnic sports culture, constructing a multidimensional integration system for traditional ethnic sports education, and making a plan for the development and education of traditional ethnic sports.
