Abstract:It has been more than four centuries for the Western world to have accepted and understood Chinese culture and philosophy. Their growing influence has been accompanied by increasing worldwide exchanges and mutual understanding between China and other countries. Overseas dissemination of Chinese culture is deeply rooted in history and culture, including the novelty and complementarity of Western culture to other different cultures. In the process, the Western academia in Chinese culture has undergone a significant shift in their interest from Sinology to the China study. To make Chinese philosophy popular as a world philosophy, we need a non-comparative perspective so that Chinese philosophy can more widely spread in the world. Through reconstruction of Chinese metaphysics, Chinese philosophy has become more theoretical and systematic. By means of the three-in-one role, Chinese philosophy has genuinely realized the unity of man and nature, knowledge and action, and emotion and reason.
